Our Story & Space
Bobbi Lockyer Shop & Gallery is a vibrant retail and gallery space celebrating art, culture, creativity, and community. Located in the heart of Garramilla (Darwin), the space brings together Aboriginal art, fashion, homewares, and design under one colourful roof.
Founded by acclaimed Ngarluma, Kariyarra, Nyul Nyul, and Yawuru artist Bobbi Lockyer, the shop is an extension of her creative world. It is a place where storytelling, culture, and bold colour come together through carefully curated products and artworks.
More than just a store, the space functions as both a boutique and gallery. Visitors can explore original artworks, prints, fashion, and homewares while discovering the stories and creators behind them.
Amplifying Indigenous Brands
At the heart of the shop is a commitment to amplifying Aboriginal owned businesses, Indigenous collaborations, and brands that share a vision for culture, creativity, and community.
Alongside Bobbi Lockyer’s own work and fashion label, the space proudly stocks a growing range of Indigenous brands and makers from across Australia. The shop also champions queer owned businesses, small creative labels, and artists who are pushing culture forward in exciting ways.
Every piece in the store has been thoughtfully chosen to support independent creators and celebrate diverse voices.
